      Cylinder CGH converts plane wavefront into cylindrical wavefront in order to match the cylinder lens under test through diffraction gratings etched on the substrate. It is more accurate and non-destructive to the surface compared with metrology by cylinder template and it is more efficient compared with contour detection.
